The Point

Common sense, in an uncommon world

STERLING WEALTH ADVISORS

APRIL 2020

During these unprecedented times, with many of us shut in or isolated, we thought we could all use a little reminder of ways to stay positive and focus on the good.

1.     Write a letter – Remember when we used to write letters?  Take a minute and pen a letter to a dear friend or family member and drop it in the mail.  They will love receiving mail and a personal note can mean so much.

2.     Take on a project around the house – Have you ever said, “if only I had more time?” Well now might be the perfect time to start, or finish, that DIY project.
3.     Virtual Gatherings – We can’t get together with friends or family in person right now, but you can organize a virtual social or happy hour on FaceTime, Zoom or other platforms. We all benefit from some face-to-face interaction, even if it is virtual.
4.     Learn a new hobby – Have you ever thought you’d really like to learn another language, start an exercise program or play a musical instrument?  There are so many options and tons of tutorials and lessons available online, do a quick search for something that interests you.
5.     Be a friend – There are many people out there down and even depressed.  A letter, a phone call, or just a simple wave and smile to a stranger across the street can go a long way in brightening someone’s spirit.

And remember…Sterling Wealth is here for you!
