Michael Goodwin, CPA, RICP

Founding Partner Michael W. Goodwin, CPA, RICP is a founding partner of Sterling Total Wealth Solutions. With more than 30 years in financial services and a strong background as a controller, senior financial analyst, and chief financial officer, Michael brings sharp tax insight and practical wealth management expertise to every client relationship.


He founded Sterling Financial in 2010, which later merged to create Sterling Total Wealth Solutions. Michael has lived in The Woodlands since 1993 and has served as role of Treasurer on several local non-profit board of directors. 



An avid ultramarathon runner, Michael has completed numerous 50- and 100-mile races. His discipline and long-term focus mirror the thoughtful guidance he provides clients.
